Guest guest
I think it is safe to say that being a lover of animals and attentive protectors/ guardian is completely compatable with vegetarians in general. We all have that fully covered here from reading our posts. *lol* Genie, you certainly have given alot to your pets; in terms of money and emotional investment. I don't know how you do it; giving them up after nurturing them back to health. Certainly you are gifted, and it has to be your calling. *s* BTW, what lentil dish did you end up making today for that lab? JC, your fat cat Squirt story is funny. My sister has the same problem with one of her cats. Her cat just eats and eats. Her vet had her place it on a diet and then it started to eat the drapes, carpet, throw rugs, belts.... you name it. *lol* She finally tamed the savage appetite by placing the cat in a pet carrier kennel at night until she learned not to eat non-food items. Sherri, I took a look at Jack and he is so cute. I admit I was very curious as to what a beagle/chihuahua would look like. Also, I am glad the smoothie recipes have helped, and eating the healthy take-out is a great idea for you. I will do some digging around and see if I can find some recipes (easy versions) of those items you mentioned. I hope your health continues to improve. *hug* Jackie (annieacid), you simply must try to catch Hamtaro. *lol* I looked at your hamster pictures and even bookmarked the site to show my daughter when she gets home from school today. She will love it; very cute. Even the names you have for them are adorable. Now a question, do you have cats and hamsters currently? If so, are there any problems with them being together, or do your cats leave them alone? Well, that's all for now. I hope you are all having a nice day. I'm going to post a few recipes.... ~ P_T ~ A wish to go to heaven is the very beginning of falling into hell. ~ The Tibetan Book of the Dead

If you had noticed, we're into all food names for the little guys... But I believe we're switching over to Star Trek names now, such as Hugh, Third or Five (from a Borg show that we really liked)... > Now a question, do you have cats > and hamsters currently? We live with my parents, and we have an apartment in the basement where the hamsters are, and the cats live upstairs and outside of the apartment... But Axl got stuck in there the other day, and aside from crapping on my floor, he didn't bug the hammies. But I do think they were freaked because he was probably meowing all day !
