Guest guest
This recipe uses the white sauce mix that is found posted in message #5. It makes a wonderful, creamy side dish, or you can make it into a casserole meal by adding a cup or two of cubed veggie-chicken grillers and some chopped broccoli; use your imagination. Potatoes Au Gratin 1/2 cup white sauce mix 1 cup cool water 1 (10.75oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4 cups cooked, pared and cubed potatoes 1 Tbs parsley flakes, or 3 Tbs chopped fresh Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 2 qt. casserole dish. Combine the white sauce mix and cool water in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. In a medium bowl, combine cr.of mushroom soup, white sauce, and cheese. Place cooked potatoes in the casserole dish and pour sauce over them, stirring to coat potatoes evenly. Sprinkle parsley on top. Bake 20-30 minutes, until sides are bubbly and cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings.
