Someone mentioned concern over protien and iron. Some people, like my

boyfriend, have more iron than they need and have to donate blood to stay

healthy. Other people, like myself, can eat all the red meat and iron

containing foods in the world and still be severly anemic with no known cause.

So, listen to your body. I take GNC ultra mega women multi vitamins with iron

and it seems to work for me... I don't take them and I go and get pale again.

By the way, anemia is nothing to fool around with, it can get quite serious and

make one very ill. If the blood bank says you're below normal, go get a real

blood test (ask to see the numbers!) and get on vitamins. Really, this is

nothing to fool around with...
