Guest guest
Recipe history: When I was 15 and just started being a vegetarian, much to my parent's dismay, I was on one of my weekend jaunts to Woodstock, NY to visit my boyfriend's older sister and to go to a few art gallery shows there. She was always so cool, hippy-like, and funky. She wasn't a vegetarian, but she was very supportive of my decision to take that path. She fixed me a wonderful salad and made a dressing I have been enjoying ever since on anything from sandwiches in pita pockets, to just a plain old romaine lettuce toss. It also makes a wonderful veggie dip. It has a nutty, creamy flavor without the cream, and is as easy to prepare as opening two jars! Tahini Salad Dressing 1 cup Itallian salad dressing (your own or favorite bottled version) 3 Tbs smooth tahini Directions: Just put tahini in a small glass mixing bowl and slowly, while whisking, add the Italian dressing. Stirring out all lumps and making it smooth. Drizzle generously over whatever you want... ~ P_T ~ ............................................................
