He received his M.S. Degree in pure mathematics from the University of Connecticut, where he later taught mathematics. In his twenties, he was computer consultant for the likes of: Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, and the Apollo Project. He is a member of the Physics honor society Sigma Pi Sigma. In his thirties he launched the enzymatic living foods movement of the 21st century.
