Greetings all,

 

The www.producecoop.com site is now open for orders.

 

We are doing freggie a little different this week we are not importing any tropicals so we will focus all of produce items on locally grown organic only ( sorry no citrus this week either, next time citrus!) . So the freggies will have more apples, raspberries, cantaloupes, watermelons, ect...

 

Also at the request of some we are adding another box (with one more coming soon) that we are calling and Organic Try Something New box - that will have an assortment of uncommonly seen items - this week it will have purple peppers, gold tomatoes, long island cheese squash, orange spaghetti squash, breakfast radishes, white beets, orange eggplants, and yellow watermelon to name a few items it's priced at 20.00 for the box.

 

We are making one change to Market day at Riverside this week - we are allowing pre orders there! Our drop off points and markets this week are as follows:

Any questions let me know. Orders are due by 9pm on thursday, if we have extra we will re-open the site and notify everyone.

We also have Healthy Solutions DC Produce Co-op organic food now in several corner stores in ward 7 and 8 and we will put a list on the site with prices for the markets as well.

 

We are also looking for volunteers and partners to host and help at co-op sites, if you are interested or know a group or organization that might be please do let me know.
