Guest guest
Greetings, I'm newly transitioning into a raw/living foods lifestyle. I'm looking for a juice recipe using dandelion greens to deal with my blood sugar issues. I was hoping to take some of the bitterness out or should I not? ***************************************Monica "NahZia" UtseyPresident, Southern DC Mocha Momswww.mochamoms.org202-484-5680 home www.ayinde-is-born.blogspot.com"A nation is not defeated until the hearts of its women are on the ground. Guest guest
I got a case of 12 bunches from my produce co-op last week, so I’ve been using one bunch in our green smoothie every morning… I don’t really mind the bitterness, but I add more fruit for the kids… usually an extra frozen banana… For mine, I just add more water to the mix, and it makes it more like a juice, than a smoothie… I usually put in one bunch of greens and two pieces of fruit… lately, it’s been a pear and either a peach or a banana. Of course, I’m not sure what your blood sugar issues are, so I can’t comment on the sugar content or how that might affect you… just combos I find palatable, and generally pretty tasty.
