Why do you think it's sacrilege? I think it's self-care. I can't eat gourmet raw all the time -- my friends and I brought our own, too. And I'm glad. There was supposed to be farmers selling produce and that didn't happen.

Sure, we bought a few items, but we'd be sick eating all that transition food. Again, though, I encourage people to write to the fest--- writing eachother on this list won't get the comments to the people who need to hear them.

hugs and greens to all --and special hello to those who stopped by my booth when I wasn't there ;-((( here I am entering email names on my list and feeling really bummed that I didn't get to say hello in person!

Ramatu – You brought your

own food to a raw food fest!!  That’s

sacrilege….I mean I understand your point totally…But hopefully vendors are

hearing that they need to cut their prices down a bit.

I hear you Sharon…Im only saying that because when I go to a festival I don’t

bring food, unless I know that there is not going to be any type of food that I

eat. So I understand the concept of

packing a lunch, but to me part of the whole festival culture is taking in the

information, the entertainment and the food….after all this festival was

all about Food! Not to mention,

that I vend at many many festivals and the amount of

work it takes to make that much food for sooo many

people, plus the costs involved I would hate to think that folks were bringing

their own food. That reminds me of

a time when someone wanted me to vend at an event they called a picnic….(not

the stonesoul picnic) and even on the flyers people

were encouraged to bring their own food….How would it have been feasible

for me to sell food when people are already packing a lunch….youknowwhatimsayin….
