Happy June! Summer is quickly approaching on the Summer Solstice on June 21st. This is a great time for celebration, cleansing, fasting and goal-setting. Avalaura Gaither Beharry is a Holistic Healer, Counselor and Spiritual Teacher who uses a combination of her education, intuition and life experiences to implement therapeutic services to improve the quality of life for herself and others. Her soul's purpose is to assist and empower individuals in rediscovering their true self and divine potential to live the lives they desire to live. She uses various healing modalities to assist her clients in their healing of mind, body and spirit including Spiritual Counseling/Life Coaching, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and other energy psychology therapies, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Yoga, Meditation, Cord Cutting, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy and more. Avalaura is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, DC.

She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Life Coach and Spiritual Counselor from Holistic Learning Center, Certified Hypnotherapist, Yoga Instructor and Holistic Aromatherapist who has studied numerous healing arts. Additionally, Avalaura recently completed a 250 hour yoga teacher training course at the Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nashik, India.
