Women's Collective -Sacred Gathering for Women

Love, Loss & Leaps of Faith with Misumbo

March 20, 2009 6:30PM- 10PM

Get your girlfriends together and join us on the 3rd Friday of the month for an empowering and exciting evening. Gather in a sacred space with other beautiful like minded women, receive healing services, listen to an enlightening presentation on the topic of the month and eat a delicious vegan meal. In this presentation, explore Family Constellation work, a dynamic healing modality practiced in more than 25 countries throughout the world. It was influenced by the Zulu of South Africa and introduced to the West by German born Bert Hellinger, a healer and therapist. Constellation work reveals audio and visual movements of the soul with unique precision. Constellation work gives participants opportunities to see intuition IN ACTION and to experience deep truths that are known only by the soul.

Misumbo Byrd is a lover, mother, seeker, writer, and country girl who grew up in the city. She's also a former Columbia University adjunct professor and published author (Sometimes Rhythm, Sometimes Blues. Seal Press 2003) who has addressed issues related to family dynamics and interpersonal relationships for the past 10 years. Byrd is a fourth year student at the National Spiritual Science Center, a Flow graduate and a Family Constellation Facilitator trained by the Hellinger Institute of DC.
