As I watched the numerous New Years Eve celebrations saying good-bye to 2008 and felt the enthusiast anticipation ushering in 2009, I wondered why New Years is one of the most widely celebrated holidays, uniting us together regardless of religion, race or beliefs. And I realized it's because everyone wants a chance to start over. We all want a new beginning, an opportunity to finally get things right, or at least to make things better than they are. This is the same reason we continue to make those New Years resolutions every year that we fail to keep. But this year is special; 2009 offers us the unique opportunity for that change. It's tabula rasa, time to wipe the slate clean and start anew. I'm not an astrologist or numerologist, but I'm sure one would confirm what I've been feeling and experiencing even before Obama was elected as our 44th President. 2009 is an especially powerful year! The seeds of change have been firmly planted, God has heard our prayers and everything that we have initiated in 2008 can now manifest given the proper environment. This is the time to tap into the wonderfully intensified spiritual energies that are here to assist us to do what we never dreamed possible. Now is the time to release the old, learn the lessons from the past and march confidently into the future. So let your light shine in 2009! Shine on, shine on, shine on!
