You ask a great question! Both kombucha and rejuvalac have probiotics--the good bacteria. These little guys produce enzymes and help with digestion. Both drinks are controversial. Kombucha is fermented tea--it MUST be caffeine tea (green or black) and sugar. So some people frown on it because the ingredients are caffeine and white sugar. (I just attempted my first batch with maple syrup and it got really moldy, so I think sugar is necessary. Would love to hear if others have a different experience.)

The controversy around kombucha is because there is no regulation of good vs. bad bacteria. Although the process is similar to sauerkraut, the salt in sauerkraut prevents much bad bacteria from growing. So, really the best choice is sauerkraut, kimchee and raw miso.

Raw honey with apple cider vinegar....you got me there. Patricia Bragg has written extensively about drinking raw apple cider vinegar with a little honey---very good for alkalizing the body, arthritis, and other ailments. Again, controversial, as the vinegar itself is not raw. The cultures (or floaties) you see inside are--they are the same SCOBY that is used to make kombucha.

Best choice--try them all, notice how your body responds, notice what resonates for you and follow your instincts.HTH,Sharon~~Sharon Greenspan, M. Ed, CLFL, HTPA301-816-0752
