Guest guest
Greetings: For those who have grown fall and winter veggies, is it ok to pick the lower leaves from collards, broccoli, cauliflower and chinese cabbage before the center matures? We don't intend to pick the leaves that will provide protection to the heads but we just don't want the few pests that we have to eat what we could be eating. On the other hand, can anyone suggest a safe pesticide? This is the first large garden we've ever grown. In previous years we grew in pots. We would appreciate your help.
