Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year. Dear friends, You are invited. Four days and counting...Please pass this along to anyone you think might find this fun and useful, or who might no someone who will like it. Healing the Planet by Empowering the Individual, the Family, and the Community. Spirituality is our birthright and the struggle continues for uplifting our consciousness and increasing our sense of community, love of Self, and respect for creation and the Creator. We are having a spiritual party this weekend, agnostics, atheists, religionists, spiritualists, young and old---everyone is invited. Sunday Jan 20 from 1-6pm. Series of workshops for the afternoon include: The Healing Power of Love: Loving yourself, Your Mate, and the World and Healthier Mind/Body & Spirit in 24 hours, and Unity with Diversity: an Interfaith Perspective, and more. The workshop presenters are all highly qualified, some having earned PhD’s from educational institutions, others possessing virtual PhD’s by virtue of their work and experience their communities. We have local talent as well as presenters traveling from Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Ohio, and even Africa. The event includes live traditional vedic music, and vegan and vegetarian feast. All FREE. Family friendly with activities for the children. The event is dedicated to a world renowned spiritual warrior, BT Swami Krishnapada. This weekend in 2005 the Mayor of DC announced BT Swami Day. So we are making this offering to the community, for free, in his name. It is all about Love and Sharing information, it is not about proselytizing. BT Swami said if you are not about interfaith dialogue & sharing you are not about the real thing. See IFASTactivities.com for the actual quote. Come on out, bring a friend or a few, bring your yoga mat for the session on hatha yoga session if you like, get some spiritual dialogue, ask your most challenging spiritual questions, sing, do some martial arts if you like, listen to music, and eat some good food.
