Should Doctors Start Recommending Salt?

Iodized salt is the #1 source of dietary iodine for most people.

Iodine deficiency can cause serious health problems. Kelp and

seaweed are good sources of iodine. It can also be found in

asparagus, dulse, garlic, lima beans, mushrooms, sea salt, sesame

seeds, soybeans, spinach, summer squash, Swiss chard, and turnip
