This is our year-round market.Sebastopol Farmers Market from 10:00-1:30 on Sundays Who Is Nut-N-Other Farms?Nut-N-Other Farms is a small, 10-acre, farm located in Dixon, California. Besides growing and selling certified almonds and walnuts, Nut-N-Other Farms also produces farm fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables and herbs. My husband, John, and I own, operate and live on the farm. We have always enjoyed cooking and eating healthy, so we decided to start helping others do so as well by selling healthy farm products. In 2006, we decided to raise our own chickens to produce farm fresh eggs for our personal use. But, before the chickens, we had grown almonds and walnuts and developed differing ways to use the nuts in cooking and food preparation. I began Nut-N-Other Farms in 2007. The purpose of this entrepreneurship is to provide farm fresh products to consumers who want the finest and who also care about what they eat. The debut product in February 2007 was fresh, ground almond meal which is excellent for baking and for adding nutrients to one's daily diet. Nut-N-Other Farms also sells farm fresh brown eggs (yes, our chickens are happy…they really do free-range) and raw almonds. We are now selling Almond Flour, an excellent gluten-free substitute for wheat flour in baking. Beginning with the 2007 harvest, Nut-N-Other Farms will provide walnut meal, raw walnuts, and a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
