Guest guest
I'm with you Lynda ! Here's some of the guidelines suggested The introduction can include the following: Past diet - Oh so VERY S.A.D. - Actually not as bad as some, cause my Mom gave us lots of fruit and salads and we didn't start having soda in the house till we were teenagers. In college I began developing digestive problems of gas and bloating, irritability, and it kept getting worse till I sought the medical doctors for help. "Here, take Tagamet" came the answer. But, thank God, I knew that wasn't the answer, I did NOT have a Tagamet deficiency :-) After 20 years or so I am finally at a happy place. I still have many food allergies (gluten, dairy, corn, .....) and have a difficult time processing fats, but I keep learning and getting better all the time. Current diet - I'd say I am 90% raw. I don't dare say perfect because I go through ups and downs depending on the stress in my life and the temptations placed before me. This I know - when I go 100% for a long period of time it is like HEAVEN! I feel SO good, but then ONE (and I mean it only takes ONE) taste of a cooked or processed food and WHAM it throws me off and I can FIGHT for weeks to get back on board again. Cooked food is an ADDICTION. Dietary goals - Have my digestive track healed and be able to be joyously 100% raw. What you're looking to get out of the site. - I want support and a place to share what I'm learning. I'm working on my masters degree in nutrition and enjoy the stimulating conversations we can have here. I also am ALWAYS needing reminders as to why RAW is Best!! Just like we need to get to church each week to inspire our faith, I need YOU all each week to keep me going :-) Personal data - I am still in love with my WONDERFUL hubby of 23 years. We have 2 sons, 19 and 14. I jog and work out regularly and am crazy enough to be doing Tae Kwon Do with my 14 year old. I have a WONDERFUL organic garden, 2 cats, some very dear friends, my relatives near by; I am involved in my church and in the lives of many of my nieces and nephews. I love life and am looking forward to seeing my business grow as I develop more books, CDs, Information products to make available for sale. My business mission statement (and pretty much my personal mission statement) is "Healthy Living Strategies Corporation is dedicated to educating and empowering people to be excited about living, confident in their purpose, and overflowing with vibrant health in order to live it out fully."
