Guest guest
I love passion! Passion keeps us alive and on our feet! We should feel excited! We should feel upset. We should support one another! We should praise one another! We should confront one another! We should question one another! I hope no one is afraid of a little confrontation or questioning. . .How else do we expect to uncover the Truth? People are dying due to the corporatocracy and the dis-information that is propagated in regards to diet and lifestyle in order to keep us sick and dependent. We should feel passionate about the mission to exalt to the Planet the benefits of holistic living and Raw Foodism. Of course we should be respectful and tactful and should control our flames. However, I do not think that we should hold back our viewpoints if we feel they are important enough. Recently, some members were upset by a certain accusation. In trying to understand this, I asked myself, how else could one have said, " I believe you belong to the CIA " any way other than that? Perhaps the member could have re-phrased the question as, " Would you be so kind as to inform me if you have been or are presently linked to a certain governmental organization with 2 vowels and a consonant in its abbreviation that is believed to plant subversives in grassroots organizations such as ours? " But upon further inspection of this phrasing, my conclusion is that this takes too much space and time and causes one to get loss in the translation. Is this a point of view that one should keep to oneself? From what I understand, similar activities from a similar organization brought death to the civil rights movement. Of course we should not become McCarthy-like and allow paranoia to destroy us, but a little civil discourse should prevent that. Please do not take this as an endorsement of that viewpoint, but a little discussion back and forth keeps this group alive. Members can choose to respond or ignore as they please, but offending someone is not the same as flaming someone. --Deirdre
