Guest guest
I read the article and my opinion is that this information is all very neatly warped (maybe too neatly wrapped). My questions are: Let's take some time to investigate who funded these supposedly objective studies? (The fact that the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville is quoted makes me wonder about the agenda of the people who conducted that study. It has been documented that private industry has greater influence in the Bush administration. The outcome has been a measurable decline in food safety for American consumers.) My second question is: What is the author of this article proposing? It seems that he is saying we should not worry and eat whatever Agri-business provides. What a novel idea! I bet if you had a conversation with the people who conducted these studies they would tell you there is no link/relationship between diet and health (or the onset of disease.) What do you think? A truly objective article would provide information from reliable consumer sources. This article does not, so I just see it as industry propaganda. Nuff Said.
