Himalayan Salt ... Pure Nonsense

Hi Tino,

No luck so far, but consider this:

I never bothered to read the list of those 84 "essential minerals" before ... but I did NOW!!! And lo and behold, I find plutonium on the list!!! No folks, scientists have indeed discovered one or two rare circumstances ... geologic processes ... that produce TINY amounts of plutonium in Nature. Otherwise, this is considered a manmade element, and it's made as a waste product in nuclear fission reactors ... nuclear power plants and nuclear bombs.

Somebody just copied a list of elements, up to some atomic number, and pasted it on the label of this stuff!!!

It also says hydrogen is in there .Now, unbonded hydrogen is the lightest known element. If there were any hydrogen in there, as such, it would immediately rise straight up into the atmosphere, probably until it found some oxygen and became water vapor.

I find one Web site that states:

___

This salt from the Himalayas is known as "white gold" because it contains eons of stored sunlight. Together with pure spring water, Himalayan Crystal Salt offers all 84 elements exactly identical to the elements in your body ... This pure salt supplies you with ancient energy and rejuvenates your body on all levels.

Source: http://www.mercola.com/store.htm Yep, that's Dr. Joseph Mercola for you!!!

___

Good grief!!! And there sure as #^*^ & $^ & better not be any plutonium in MY body!!! If sitting in the sun transforms rocks into healthful food, then we should all change our diets completely!

I shall not continue, to do so would be a complete waste of my time and energy. I leave everyone to draw their own conclusions ... naturally, of course!! :):)

Best,

Elchanan

I would be really interested, and very grateful if you could dig it up.-Tino
