You're absolutely right about being a ward of the 'State'. However, no matter what any piece of paper says (and, God knows there are many), you know in your Heart who you belong to, and must claim it! If any day every arrived in which people simply spoke a resounding 'No,' that would do away with their little made-up patents. They will only claim ownership as long as the people legitimize it! Of course, we know that any person who refuses to acknowledge that some corporation owns them (including the corporation called the United States) there will be legal ramifications; but for some reason, everybody is held accountable, but the person in Washington who declares an 'Executive Order').
