Hi Fay,

First, sorry about taking awhile to get back to you. This past weekend was the last of summer break, before my partner returned to teaching this AM.

Nancy lists really constructive questions, which I've retained below. Here are several common causes of such overheating for you and your husband to consider. I'm not suggesting that any of these applies here, just food for thought.

1. Overfat/overweight. (Sounds like not an issue here, from what you share.)

2. Consumption of salt and/or excitotoxins. For more on this topic, I suggest exploring the Web site of Dr. Richard Blaylock at

3. Chronic or recurrent pain, when exacerbated for any reason.

4. Sporadic activity, as in "weekend warriors".

5. Sporadic consumption of spicy foods.

6. Consumption of alcohol or of any form of drugs (legal or illegal, prescription or OTC).

7. Exposure to environmental toxins, particularly in anyone who eats any animal foods (flesh, dairy, eggs).

8. Emotional spikes ... shots of (unexplained??) fear or anxiety, in particular.

Fay, does any of these sound applicable. (#3 obviously does, I mean the others.) Also, would your husband have a name, and would he be willing to participate in the conversation on his own behalf? I find that most conversations for another adult are relatively pointless, regardless of anyone's good intentions.

Best,

Elchanan

Hydration is another concern. How much water does he drink (won't need as much with all raw, but will at first to cleanse). Headaches often come from not getting enough water or sleep. Does he drink 8 or so cups a day of water, does he get 6 to 8 hours of sleep? Is there stress in his life, allergies.... Lots of possible impacts. ALL of which raw food eating will help.

My husband look like a black Tom Sellec...

He may be 10 to 15 pounds overweight, but he does not look over weight at all. His blood pressure is perfect. He has a very little belly fat. He does have a foot fungus in his toe nails.

He also wears a pretty high prescription for glasses. He has pop bottle thick glasses when we were kids.

He does have a cell phone and uses it. Honestly... ____________

Hello Tara and the rest of the gang!

I am in a different situation. My husand has migraine headaches. Temperature changes seem to effect him often. He gets headaches often. I rub peppermint and other essential oils on his head to help him.

Any suggestions?
