Guest guest Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 I was really skeptical that I would get cravings for cooked and sweet foods, but wow, I am getting them big time. I should have read "12 Steps to Raw Foods" before I decided to go on the diet; and not at the same time. The book mentions too may foods and is triggering my brain to think about them. I have not given in though; and I don't plan to. The addiction chapter is really good though.I am definitely feeling happier, and more energetic since I have been on this diet. My memory seems to be improving too. Some strange things are happening. For example, I have always been a compulsive nail biter, I have never made an attempt to stop. For some reason I have stopped without any conscious effort, or thoughts of doing so. My nails are grown and look much better than when chewed.....lol It is nice because I can easily peel the skins off almonds before I eat them.--ScottDon't under estimate the wisdom of nature.
