I don't hear raw foodists talking about animal rights

and I am curious to hear what other people's beliefs are in

regard to this important issue. Which of the following most

CLOSELY matches your view?

 

o I support animal rights. I agree with PETA's principle that " animals are

not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.. "

o I don't think that animals have rights but think that it's important to

protect the environment, and environmental protection includes protection of

wildlife.

o I support animal welfare. Humans have the right to use animals for their

own purposes, but are responsible for making sure they are treated humanely.

o I am on a raw vegan diet for health reasons. The fact that my diet

doesn't harm animals is merely a beneficial side effect.

o I do not support animal rights and think that humans should be able to use

animals in any way they see fit.

Can we know who originated the poll? I think that in a community like ours

where many of us actually know each other, it's important that posters identify

themselves. In fact, I think in any kind of community it is helpful when people

don't do things anonymously. Thanks much.
