Good morning again,

I did a quick search to see if I could find a table of NNR scores for common

foods. In the process I discovered that a leading researcher in the subject is

at the University of Washington. Here is a link to a presentation he gave in

2005 on the basis for the rating system and some considerations for using it to

make public health recommendations. Although I haven't looked into the purpose

and research on which his conclusions are based, I was encouraged by the fact

that bio-availability is recognized as being desirable. This is the sort of

basic research in nutrition that I'd like to see more of.

You might consider contacting him to see if he would be interested in speaking

at a potluck. I suspect he would.

btw, I found a table of food ratings similar to the NNR on Dr. Fuhrman's site.

Does anyone know if there is a rawfood site that lists any similar sort of

ranking?

Thanks.

Nick Hein
