The great raw potlucks! (80 people at a recent one)

The wonderful farmers markets (when in season)

Even in the famous market where they insensitively throw fish around

there is a produce stand with organic produce.

Chaco Canyon! (soon to be new and improved)

Carmelitas and Cafe Flora, which I believe will prepare raw food meals

with a couple days advance notice.

The Side Car, which has raw snacks.

Green lake (for walks, jogs, rollerblading, and for dodging people).

Burke-Gillman trail for long bike rides.

A bunch of PCC markets, Madison Market, Marlene's, Manna Mills, and a

couple Whole Foods (3 if you count Issaquah?)

[RawSeattle] Biggest attractions the Seattle area can offer a raw

vegan

Hi!

So there's an awesome new raw friend of mine from

Calgary named Hanan

http://eat.rawfood.com/rawfood/lovelight/

who's considering visiting Seattle next weekend (first

weekend of March). I'm cheering her on, maybe going

overboard, but I just really want her to come by. It

would be fantastic for as many of you to meet her as

possible. She asked me what there is that would

attract her here. I would hope number one would be me

in her eyes. ;-) In addition though, so far here is

what I've come up with:

* the lovely, happy, healthy, glowing raw PEOPLE!

* the many beautiful city parks, like Volunteer with

the water tower giving a great panoramic view,

Greenlake by the water, Carkeek and Alki with their

beachfronts

* the spacious, warm, welcoming, wonderful homes of

many of us living here

* the NW Living Foods Co-op

* the Raw Network of Washington

* the Columbia Tower Club, thanks to Monika offering

to take guests there with her

* great natural foods stores, and even other more

" conventional " grocers, carrying plenty of organic

produce

Would you please help me add to this list to lift it

to its highest possible compellingness to ensure this

great new friend can't help but stop by Seattle for

her most memorable visit ever?! Thank you oh so much!

Eric
