Guest guest
If you have not already done so, please consider joining the Seattle Raw Food Meet up: http://rawfood.meetup.com/213/ There is no obligation to give up any information to anyone, unless you feel inclined to do so. It is a great opportunity to find out about everything that is going on, and to contribute your own events to, as well. Someone in the group will be leading a weekly raw hike on the Sunday mornings, and there will be info on the site in the next few days. Another member is talking about having people over that would be interested in listening in on a weekly national teleconference call with Gabriel Cousins on nutrition and spirituality. We encourage everyone to host some type of event, if possible. It can be every week, or month or even for one time. Send the information, or call and we will do our part to help get the word out. We hope to see everyone at this Thursday’s Meet up in West Seattle, and even if you cannot make it, remember that it is going to be happening every week, until further notice. Even if you cannot make it, you will be in all of our thoughts. We are also in talks with the Northwest Living Foods Co-Op about making the Thursday night Meet-up location a drop off spot for the organic produce. “If no one has told you that they love you today, then let us be the first”. Info: Weekly Raw Potluck/Support/Social Group each Thursday evening in West Seattle. 6:00 PM start - 7:00-9:00 PM eat - 8:30/9:00 PM check-in/discussion Ends at 10:00 PM (whatever time you get there, or have to leave, will be perfect!) Details: Our intention is to have people in the Raw Food Community that are in various stages of this powerful lifestyle to share where they are at, and to freely give or gain whatever they may either have or need, in the area of support (and have fun!). We want to provide the access for those that have gained so much from this, to inspire, encourage and share what has worked for them. At the same time, we want those in transition to be able to comfortably and honestly share the difficulties they are having and get some input and insight from those that have embraced a higher level of success. What to Bring: Please bring raw (preferably organic) food to share, properly labeled, as well as your own plates and utensils. If you don't know what to bring but are interested in coming, just bring some organic fruit, or some organic mixed greens with dressing on the side. If you have a favorite chair or pillow, bring it along. Otherwise, everything you need should be provided. Just show up and we will make it work out great. We may have a fireplace and wood available in the backyard. We are open for any ideas on how to make this the most positive and productive opportunity ever! This is “our” event!
