Guest guest
Of course, in an effort to get clean water, many of us drink purified (or ultra-purified) water, which may have pretty much everything but the H2O taken out, which is not natural. Natural clean water from a pristine mountain river (which probably doesn't exist) would have more than H2O, such as a variety of minerals. As it may not be possible to get " natural " water anymore, and the purified waters are missing " natural " ingredients, I understand why some people like to add something to their water. Some bottled water companies add (inorganic) minerals back into their ultra-purified water, which may mimic natural water, but is not natural. What it comes down to is individual choice. I will add that I don't drink much water. The fruits and greens keep me very hydrated. Jeff > And all along the way, water is our friend. I get my water from a stream that comes directly from the snow melt in the Cascades, and is purified by nature as it flows down the mountain. It probably does have more minerals but this is a downside, as they are not usable in that form by the body. (The body can only use minerals that have been taken up from the soil by plants and converted to an organic form by photosynthesis.) However, since this kind of water is the kind we'd be drinking if we were living really naturally, the body can easily handle eliminating a few inorganic minerals. It's important to get water in places where we can be sure it doesn't flow through any population centers or near agriculture but that's easy for we who live so near the mountains. If anyone wants to know the site where I get water, feel free to email me privately. It's about a 20 minute drive east of Seattle. Best regards, Nora
