I am posting an email messaged rec'd from Angela Stokes with the

link to a recording of her interview on the Sally Jessie Raphael

Show. My personal opinion is that Sally and her crew are in need of

a barrage of letters explaining just where protein comes from .....

It's too bad people without full knowledge come across as experts to

so many people. (I won't go any further with that comment. LOL!)

You'll want to especially hear the conversation between Sally and

her " expert " following the interview.

I really enjoyed the interview and am excited to spread this message

of healing with raw foods ever-further. It seems my story and

comments raised a lot of controversy for Sally and her crew, who

could not understand where a raw foodist gets protein from…this, as

all raw foodists know, is the perennial question we face…I am sorry

that they did not seem to resonate with the idea of alternative

protein sources than meat/beans/legumes, but am happy nonetheless to

have got this message out there…I gotta just keeping on spreading

those seeds of consciousness

Remember, a lot of Americans (and people from other countries, as well)

still have mind sets about protein, etc. If you write, please offer

comments to help educate them. I suggest that chastising Sally and her

staff will not help as much as informing them with valid information. I

am happy to see (hear) that they were open enough to have a raw foodist

on the program. Perhaps we can help relieve some of their fear and

hesitation about raw food nutrition. Even Mary Margaret (Sally's

assistant or producer???) admitted she does not know enough about the

subject (raw foods & fasting). Both Sally and Mary Margaret seem to

have the out-dated protein belief about vegetarian nutrition (beans &

rice).

 

If you do send a note, feel free to post a copy to this list. It may be

of interest to the rest of our group. For those who " don't " write such

letters, sharing letters here may serve as an inspiration (and/or

education) to write letters. Raw foods education is growing rapidly,

yet it is still an uphill " battle " among the main stream. Let's make it

easier for them and less fearful.
