Guest guest
BTW, I've made smoothies that have tasted like eggnog, without using durian. Here's my recipe: Banana Custard Smoothie By Judy Pokras (editor/publisher/founder _www.RawFoodsNewsMagazine.com_ (http://www.RawFoodsNewsMagazine.com) ) (Serves 2) 2 ripe bananas, peeled and broken into pieces about an inch or two long 8 soft (like the barhi or honey varieties) (or presoaked dried) dates, pits removed 1/2 cup walnuts 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 2 cups pure water 1. Place the banana sections into a freezer bag, seal it, and freeze overnight or until the banana pieces have frozen solid. 2. To make the smoothie, put the frozen banana pieces in a blender with about 3/4 of a cup of filtered, distilled, or bottled water, and blend on high speed. 3. When all the frozen banana pieces have blended smoothly into the water, stop the blender, add the remaining ingredients, and continue to blend until the dates have blended smoothly into the mixture. You might need to add a bit more water if the mixture seems too thick. Adjust the amount of water depending on whether you want to make smoothies or frozen custard. 4. Serve immediately.
