Hi Ramona and all,

I shared this thread in our PathOfHealth group. One of our members, Diane,

wrote back with a fascinating personal experience that exemplifies what I

was saying, that sometimes very healthy and very unhealthy people have

similar test results, but for " opposite " reasons. Enjoy!

Hi Ramona,

I took an enzyme course several years ago that involved a section on

interpreting 24 hour urinalysis. For the course, we were required to submit

our own 24 hour test. The doctor teaching the class chose one at random to

discuss. He pulled my test out of the batch and proceeded to explain that I

(not knowing who I was;they were numbered only) was the type of person who

could not get well no matter what because I was so deficient in calcium

because there was none detected in my UA and my sedimant was extremely low

indicating I was so demineralized that my body couldn't spare any minerals.

He said that I probably had auto-immune diseases such as RA or worse. He

then asked the person whose test it was to stand and concur. I stood up

laughing beecause everybody at the course knew me and how much energy I had.

He said that there must have been a mistake, it was the wrong test. I said

no, simply that I was a raw foodist. He had absolutely no experience and

ended up moving on. I later took the test after eating cooked food for a

few months and I tested " normal " . I think you are right to stay out of the

system.

I was just hoping to see if anyone had any actual experience with giving

blood after being raw.

Thank you for forwarding Diane's experience to me. Please let her know that it

was greatly apreciated.

I am wondering though, how can we change a system, if we are not a part of it.

If more doctors saw " irregular " readings to these " standard " tests from healthy

individuals, while expecting unhealthy ones, wouldn't some begin to take notice

and want to study them.

Medicine/Science is fascinated with that which is unusual and different. Our

lifestyle currrenly qualifies.

This may or may not be an easy road to travel, but some of us will eventually

travel it none the less.

I think eventually others will begin to notice the consistant benfits that the

raw food lifestyle offers and will want to make it part of their own lifestyle.

Thank you again to all who have contributed to this discussion.

Light and Love
