Guest guest
Greetings, Just a reminder that this Sat is the monthly NW Living Foods pot luck held at Susan and Tom's in Redmond. This month we'll have special guest Dr. Yashpal Jayne available to do live blood cell analysis with his dark field microscope for the discounted/introductory price of $75. A long time raw foodist, Dr Jayne is the doctor who helped Susan heal her cancer, and with his practice located in Port Townsend as well as working in the Seattle area would be available to assist those interested in healing their health challenges. With the opening of the raw store last month, please note that the format has changed a little. Between 5 and 8 the store will be open for " walk in " shopping and for pick up of product already ordered. Also, between 6 and 6:30, there will be product sampling/tasting. Dinner will still be at 6:30 followed by movies at 8 and 10. The movies this month will be Eating, a great documentary on the health devastation caused by eating a SAD diet and the benefits of transitioning to a plant based diet. Great motivation for those still " going raw " or great info for those already raw to share with friends and family still eating the SAD diet. The second movie will be either David Wolfe's Exotic Nutrition Vol. 2- Super Foods or possibly Who Killed The Electric Car?, a recent movie about maintaining the status quo by the energy powers that be. Info: On the 1st Saturday of each month, from 5PM to 12AM, NW Living Foods, Tom Armstrong & Susan Park will host a potluck. We gather together to support and inspire each other in this incredible raw food adventure. We share recipes, creativity, information, experiences, concerns and techniques. And, most of all, we share wonderful raw meals. It's also a time to shop at the new raw food store at Tom and Susan's, with over 250 raw, organic products in stock, all at discount prices, it's a raw experience unlike any you've had before. What to bring: A prepared dish of raw, organic vegan ingredients. These events are about abundance, therefore, each person is requested to bring a prepared dish large enough that if eaten alone, it would completely satisfy 2 – 3 people (couples 4 – 6 people). Please provide a detailed list of ingredients, and the recipe, if possible. If it's your first time and you don't know what to bring, but are interested in coming, just bring an organic salad with dressing on the side. Please bring your own plates and silverware.
