This month's NW Living Foods Co-op raw pot luck, held at Susan and Tom's in Redmond this Sat, will serve as the Grand Opening of the Co-op's new Redmond Raw Food Center. With over 225 raw and organic products always in stock, all at 10% to 30% off retail, and just a 20 minute drive from Seattle, this will take raw shopping in the NW to the next level. We'll have samples of a lot of the products for you to try, and you're welcome to purchase product even if you didn't already order product (and even if you did). The details are still coming together, but roughly they are as follows for placing and picking up orders: You order online (nwlivingfoodscoop.org/products) anytime of the month and choose to: Pick up your product in Redmond (22336 NE 85th St) by appointment (425-868-8128) between 12 and 5 Mon thru Sat and till 9 PM Thursday (you're also welcome to make an appt and just come out and do your shopping directly in the " store " ). Have your product shipped UPS (at your cost) directly to you Arrange to pick up your product at our Seattle pick up location either Thursday evening 4 -7 or Sunday afternoon 2:30 – 5:30 at Leah Parker's in upper Fremont (4512 Evanston Ave N, 206-632-8083) Pick up your order at the monthly pot luck Hopefully, it won't be long before we have organic produce dialed in and online also. Hope to see you soon at the new Redmond Raw Foods Center. Tom Armstrong Info: On the 1st Saturday of each month, from 5PM to 10PM, Tom Armstrong & Susan Park will host a potluck. We gather together to support and inspire each other in this incredible raw food adventure. We share recipes, creativity, information, experiences, concerns and techniques. And, most of all, we share wonderful raw meals. What to bring: · A prepared dish of raw, organic vegan ingredients. · These events are about abundance, therefore, each person is requested to bring a prepared dish large enough that if eaten alone, it would completely satisfy 2 – 3 people (couples 4 – 6 people). · Please provide a detailed list of ingredients, and the recipe, if possible. · If it's your first time and you don't know what to bring, but are interested in coming, just bring an organic salad with dressing on the side. · Please bring your own plates and silverware.
