Guest guest
I was thinking about the KCTS cooks program and thought it would be great if they had some raw recipies included. I'm new to the raw diet, but figured some of you who have been immersed in it might have some really great recipes that would have a good chance at making into their cookbook ... and what a great way to spread the word. They even pick some of the contributors to make their dish on the TV program! I don't have a fantastic recipe, but I'd love to contribute my writing skills to help craft the submission to increase it's chance of being selected for inclusion in the book and perhaps the TV show itself. Maybe if it generated enough interest, they would consider including a raw recipe section and even doing a raw show in the future. Here's the info and link for anyone interested. However, act fast, the deadline for submission is this Thursday. http://www.kcts.org/weekend/kitchen/cooks/index.asp Send your name, address and favorite recipes to cooks. The deadline for recipe submission is October 12. The KCTS Cooks: Favorite Recipes - 10 Delicious Years special airs Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m.
Guest guest
I have a recipe in one of those books. Probably more than 5 years ago I sent in Not Your Grama's Apple Pie and Cashew Fluff. I got a free book. Gave it away after I looked up my recipe, lol. Was so hoping to be picked for the show, but alas they went with all cooked. Maybe I'll try again with more than one recipe. I used to get announcements about the book being published but I have changed email addresses and got dropped. Shari
