naturally, traditional Chinese medicine like acupuncture, and " Oriental

visual diagnosis " — figuring out health problems from the eyes and face

— were also taught by experts in Jamaica.

A plant-based diet of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds — but no dairy

products, caffeine or refined sugar — is healthy because cooking

destroys nutrients and enzymes in live foods and brings toxins into the

body, and can be tasty as well, Latham explains.

 

Latham trains vegan and raw-foods chefs for various hotels, and offers

consulting, catering, and nutrition education.
