Guest guest
Dear Friends, As some of you may know, I am in the process of writing a business plan to open up a raw food store and non-profit raw community center in the Seattle area. In January 2007, I will be hosting a large fundraising event which will include a silent auction, a gourmet dinner at Seattle' beautiful Columbia Tower Club, speakers, dancing, and more! For the silent auction portion of the evening, I have set a goal of obtaining: * Forty (40) auction items worth approximately $100 each * Five (5) high-ticket auction items worth $500+ each * Twenty-five (25) auction items worth approximately $25 - $75 each The types of auction items I am especially interested in finding include gift certificates to yoga studios, massage practitioners, raw food places, farmers markets, grocery stores, book stores, spas, naturopathic physicians, martial arts classes, vegetarian restaurants, nutritionists, etc.; plane tickets or hotel night stays; and tangible goods such as original art work or photography with raw foods in mind (e.g. farmers markets, fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc.), specialty teas or dried fruits, organic body care items, organic clothing, raw books or other products, other services that everyone needs from time to time (e.g. photography/portraits, accounting, legal, web or graphic design, etc.); or anything else that you can think of that might support my mission! If you are able to get your hands on any of these types of items, please support the very important work that I am doing by donating to the auction! If you don't have access to any of these things, help me spread the word that I am looking by forwarding my email to your friends and families -- every little bit helps and your assistance is greatly appreciated! I have also attached an auction item donation form to the Files section. I will be sending out more information about this very exciting event next month once the details are solidified, and I hope some of you will be able to make it! Take care, feel good, and have a great weekend!!! Sincerely Monika Kinsman
Guest guest
Hi Monika, Is the raw food store to be a private business? or non-profit, or is just the community center part of it non-profit?
