Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm making a trip to an organic farm in Eastern Washington and am willing to bring back fruit if anybody is interested. Below are the prices. All organic, lovingly grown, recently harvested and vine/tree-ripened. I especially recommend the seeded watermelons (!), nectarines and peaches. The plums are good too but they weren't quite ready when I was there last. I'm hoping they will be by this weekend. The cantaloupes were a less sweet variety but they had a yellow melon that was like canary, similar to honeydew but even sweeter. The orange cherry tomatoes are *superb*. Everything comes very clean and nicely boxed, limited to one layer if it's crushable like nectarines or peaches. Pick up will be at my place near Eastgate (off I-90) in Bellevue, or if there are lots of orders from Seattle it's possible we could all meet up somewhere in Seattle on Sunday evening. Feel free to email privately or call 425.802.0165. Cheers, Nora www.RawSchool.com Seeded watermelons, 20+ pounds ...............$5 each Assorted melons (orange honeydew, cantaloupe, casaba, canary-like melons, smallish yellow seeded watermelons).............75 cents/lb Nectarines, peaches, plums (red, yellow or black) ............... $1.25/lb Orange cherry tomatoes ................ $2.00/lb (I think one of those little boxes is about a pound) Heirloom tomatoes ............. $2.50/lb
Guest guest
Hello all, I'll be heading back to Eastern Washington for another fruit run this Saturday. I need to know by Friday what you'd like to order. Regarding availability, the nectarines will most likely be gone by the weekend but peaches are still available and Italian plums ($1.25/lb) too. Also, honey crisp apples for the same price. Following is the full price list. Please call or email privately if you'd like to order or if you have questions. Thanks!! Guest guest
Hi, I'm sending my computer out this evening for repairs, so I just wanted to let all of you who have placed orders know that I have received them and will send individual confirmations when I have my computer back on Wednesday. If anyone else wants to order, feel free to call or email, I'll get it eventually. Oh, also, the farmer tells me that he has Bartlett pears and Asian pears too, both for $1.25/lb.
