Guest guest
Last Tuesday we took Aunt Liz (who is from Wickenburg, Arizona) to Whidbey Island. She knows how we eat and likes to visit. She is 82 years young! Anyway, we drove to Mukilteo, got a 4 hour parking space on the street, paid $9+change to walk on the ferry. On the other side we walked off the ferry and boarded Route #7 - the Langley Loop for FREE bus ride to Langley. The bus drops you off right in front of Tourist Information. There we got a map and discovered a vegetarian restaurant just a couple blocks away. Welllll, what the map didn't show was the bigass hill you get to climb for two blocks to get to the restaurant. Which was okay with everyone including Aunt Liz. Let me tell you this was a gem in the midst of a sea of SAD!!!! They have a RAW MENU!!!! I almost got down on the ground and kissed their feet. We were the only ones in there and so we got to chat with the chef and the owner was there as well. We told them how appreciative we were for their offerings and they said they were hoping to expand the raw portion of their offerings. Guest guest
I should have said it was $9+ for the three of us for the ferry ride. Shari
