Enjoy your posts. You seem to condense quite succinctly what I need to know.

Curious about your source of knowledge. Also, could you detail what you do

eat on a day-to-day basis (including approximate times)?

I am trying to go raw (while also on a 4 day rotational diet to lessen food

sensitivites) and it is dang difficult somedays. I get so hungry I am eating

handfuls of nuts too many periods in a day (another food sensitivity waiting to

happen??). Came so close to eating pizza yesterday - ate more watermelon

instead.

Would like to see others post what their daily foods include. Haven't given

up my cooked rice, broccoli, asparagus, etc. yet and not sure I want to

despite possible health issues.

Been vegetarian for 30+ years w/little consumption of dairy, but alot of

tofu.

Here's my menu:

Breakfast:

Smoothie made w/Vita-Mix (rotating mixture of fruits)

Mid-morn: Nuts, later more fruit

Lunch: Dehydrated flax crackers w/almond butter. Alt. days, cooked rice and

grns.

Mid-Afternoon: Nuts, fruit, or juiced carrot apple w/grn.

Dinner: Fruit, or nuts, or rotating huge salad (w/cooked mar. beans and

artichokes)

Would like to and plan to include more dehydrated items or " raw gourmet "

foods to feed my hunger, at least for awhile.

Hi Suzanne,

I just wanted to recomment that you find some recipes

that work for you to replace your favorite cooked

food. If you have health issues, you really would do

better eliminating all cooked foods, especially

grains. Plain steamed veggies wouldn't be as bad for

though, if those appeal to you. Madison Market has a

good selection of raw prepared gourmet type foods,

crackers and hummus and brownies and such. There are

lots of raw recipes available online.

www.fromsadtoraw.com has a huge recipe section. Alissa

Cohen's book (available at www.alisacohen.com) is a

great recipe book for new raw fooders.

All the best,

Audrey
