Pigs Peace event with raw food

Hello!

 

For those of you who never had the pleasure of

eating at Cafe Ambrosia, Francis & Carol Janes

were two of the owners. Francis was the executive

chef. They used to put on monthly raw dinners.

 

Anyway, they are hosting this fund raiser. I

spoke to Francis and they will have raw foods

available. Please consider attending. It is for a

good cause and there should be some good food

(and good company.)

 

There will also be some pints of raw Vice Cream®

available in the silent auction, as well as a

gift certificate for one of my raw chocolate

cakes (there may be a minimum bid, but for those

of you who have had it, you probably appreciate

the value (premium organic ingredients and many

hours of preparation!))

 

If you wish to attend and want the raw foods,

please let Francis know ahead of time, so he can

plan for more raw food if necessary.

Dear Friends,

 

Please join us for a delicious vegan backyard

barbecue dinner and help support the fantastic

work of Pigs Peace Sanctuary, a non-profit

organization in Stanwood (www.pigspeace.org)

dedicated to providing a safe home for unwanted,

abused and neglected animals and to spreading the

message of compassion for all animals. Pigs Peace

founder and director Judy Woods, our dear friend,

will be our special guest in addition to board

members and many dedicated volunteers.

 

Francis and Carol are hosting the fundraiser and

informal outdoor dinner at their home in North

Seattle. Registration begins at 5:00 PM with

Dinner starting at approximately 6:00 PM followed

by a silent auction. To RSVP, please link to the

to register and pay in advance. There is limited

seating at this event and we encourage you to

register no later than July 8 as it will sell

an item or a service to the silent auction. If

you cannot attend this event, please consider

making a generous donation through the Pigs Peace

website. This year, more than ever, we need your

participation and generous support as we try to

recover from the devastating loss of the

Sanctuary Education Center this past spring. 100%

of the event proceeds will go to the sanctuary!

working together in support of Judy and all the

happy and contented residents at the sanctuary.
