Guest guest
This is a neat site called the Contemporary Green LifeStyle Network: http://gliving.tv/ They have a section called " Green Chefs " where I previously viewed several pretty good videos of chefs showing how to prepare some raw food recipes, and also featuring other raw food recipes in text form. I saw a demo of how to cut open a coconut and watched Allisa Cohen prepare nori rolls and veggie rolls using collard green leaves. The site still has the section listed, but it seems that they must be working on it, as it isn't active as of this moment when I clicked on it. Also - in regard to the post about dry skin: I have read a book called " Your Body's Many Cries for Water " , and got an inkling of how some problems can be traced back to simply not getting enough water and how we could actually be suffering from dehydration. Some of the foods we eat, if we eat too much of them, can dehydrate our cells, apparently. The author mentions orange juice as one fruit which can do this. I noticed sometime ago that my skin was getting dry and the only difference in my diet was that I was eating lots of cherries (the frozen kind). So I cut back, and it did make a difference. And speaking of Udo's Oil, I just discovered a new chocolate confection made by Bija for the Flora company (http://www.florahealth.com/flora/home/usa/products/tgu8.asp). They are chocolate covered " Omega Truffles " , " made with organic ingredients " , and contain Udo's Choice 3-6-9 Oil Blend. They are mmmmmmm good. I found them at Nature's Pantry in Bellevue. I haven't seen them at Whole Foods or PCC yet, but I'll be submitting a request for them. Blanc
