Guest guest
Hello, Today is my 9th day of the Master Cleanse (I want to eat about 85% raw again - for the past year I've eaten about 40-50%) - I feel awesome and am seeing wonderful healing results - my rosacea is clearing up, my ear infection (that I've had for over a year) went away, a mysterious rash on my hip cleared up, I have more energy that I know what to do with, and I've lost about 10 lbs (which I needed to). However, I was told by my dentist today (after an X-ray) that I have an infection at the roots of one of my back teeth and that I'll need a root canal. I don't want to chance it, but part of me wants to hold off on the root canal and see if the infection goes away - my dentist said that the terrible pain I was in last week was probably due to the roots dying and they're probably dead now because my pain subsided. Does anyone have any input on this? I'd greatly appreciate it. Sheree Great Website http://www.worldwatch.org/pubs/goodstuff/ How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
Sheree, Take this with a grain of salt as I am not a dental profesional. My understanding is that once you need a root canal, there's no going back, the damage has already been done. You can check with some naturopathic doctors about this, such as Yashpal (www.yashpal.com, if I'm not mimstaken), however, I'm pretty sure you will have to get one. I'm not sure that it means it has to be done right away though. Again, seek more informed advice on that. One thing I CAN tell you with some certainty is that you want to pick the dentist who does the root canal very carefully, ie, someone who will use biocompatible materials. Do a search on the for 'dentist' and I think you'll find some Seattle area recommendations.
Guest guest
Hi Sheree ~ I know that Victoria Boutenko doesn't like root canals, nor does my holistic dentist in Spokane. I don't know whether they'd give you information over the phone when you're not a patient. You might give it a try. It seems I've even seen a book in his office on the evils of root canals. He is Robert Stephan, DDS, and his phone is 509-325-2051 I wish you healing! Annette
