Any Raw Food Events going on April 15-19 in Seattle?

I am from Kansas and work for Boeing and will be in town April 15-19

and am curious if there are any raw food events, lectures, Raw food 12

step meetings, potlucks, anything going on.

 

There are very few people in Wichita were i live who are raw or even

know what raw food is. IT would be way cool to meet some like minded

people.

 

I am planning to check out the raw cafe in seattle. Any great places

I should go for organic and raw produce? I will be staying at the

Embassy Suites near the airport and Boeing so if there are places near

there you can recommend that would be great. This is my first trip to

Seattle so I have no idea were anything is............but am good with

mapquest.

You can keep an eye on our website, http://rawseattle.org/, but nothing

is listed right now for the time you'll be here. We do have a vegan

restaurant in the U-District with a raw menu. That's the place to go

for raw foodists: http://chacocanyoncafe.com. PCC (Puget Consumer Coop)

has quite a few locations and have very good organic produce. We also

have a Whole Foods, as well as many other markets carrying organic

produce. Madison Market (Central Coop) has a raw section with bottled

and dried raw foods. They also have a small (tiny) section of raw foods

in a refrigerated section.

 

If you plan a trip to Canada, Vancouver also has a few raw restaurants.

There is a " Living on Live-Food " Lecture at MARLENE'S in Federal Way on April

15, but I'm not sure at what time. Or you could just hire me to cater your meals

and teach you how to prepare the yummiest live-food anywhere...

LOL and how much would that cost? and is the sun kitchen a place to go and eat
