Hi everyone,

I have both of the Shelley Young food books and they rely heavily on all the

other " pH

Miracle " books which Robert Young and Shelley Young wrote. To have the food

books

without those other books on pH balancing would limit your understanding of why

she

included those particular recipes. And she promotes avocados and coconuts

heavily which

is often not available fresh or cheap in other parts of the country besides

southern Calif

where they live. Yes these food books are great as long as you understand the

bigger

knowledge base of pH balancing, of which sugars are avoided for several health

reasons.

Gets into pleomorphism which is important concept to learn.

The " No Grain Diet " book has the www.emofree.com concepts which is key to the

emotional side of how to get off the sugars and starches which digest into

sugars and

ultimately alcohols when there is fermentation going on. This emotional part of

foods has

been with most of us since birth and really gets into our total responses to any

and all

foods. Once you learn to unplug this emotional part with the EFT then you'll

have better

abilities to choose any foods without being hooked on the addiction of the

emotions. And

that applies to many things in life in addition to foods. So learning the EFT is

prime !!!

All of this is fun journey toward health and away from sickness. Way to go

everyone and

thanks for the whole Raw Seattle group...
