I didn't know about this either, I've found the majority of WFs do

NOT have juice bars (certainly not the one in Bellevue, and the one

in Redmond isn't planned to have one, nor is the PCC...I'm thinking

of getting together a petition of Juice Bar lovers, to at least send

a message, especially to PCC which has that great juice bar in

Issaquah...the whole energy of the Kirkland PCC is much lower for the

lack thereof....but more on this topic later).

I asked someone at the Bellevue WF why, and one claimed that it is

now a companywide policy to NOT have juice bars (not sure if the

existing ones will hold out, I hope so), supposedly because of

actions taken by the insurance companies who are soooo worried that

someone will get sick from the juice bar (but they aren't worried

about the SEAFOOD bar with germs floating around).

But to give Whole Foods some credit -- supposedly they also have a

policy of using only 100% green sources of energy. They are probably

the largest company in the nation that can make that claim, so I say,

support them...but keep pressuring them to add juice bars, maybe.

Speaking of Whole Foods, anyone going to the Bellevue store tomorrow

night, $20 for an event with at least some food tasting with raw chef

Jennifer Cornbleets?
