Notes from raw co-op organizational meeting & Survey

Hi Everyone,

 

We had 8 people at the meeting (thanks to everyone who made it) and

the overall result was that we need more information from different

sources as well as from all of you, the potential members. We will

be including a list of questions at the end of this e-mail that we

would greatly appreciate you taking the time to answer so that we

have more information to base our decision on whether to proceed

forward or not with the co-op, and if we do go forward, what

direction it will take.

 

We have the opportunity to save 20% to 50% on raw and related

products but we'll need more support than we have had in the past to

keep this going and growing.

 

One of the big questions we must decide, based on level of support,

is whether we commit the money and resources to incorporating as

an " official " cooperative or just forming an association as we wait

and see the level of support that develops. Another question we

discussed was how serious a web site we want to develop at this

point.

 

We decided to hold a second meeting – Tuesday, Feb 28, 7:00 – 9:00

PM, Susan & Tom's place in Redmond – to discuss the results of the

following survey as well as some other information we're looking

into. Everyone is invited to come and share their idea of what

they'd like to see develop.

 

With that in mind, for those willing, please complete the following

survey in as much detail as possible, and return it by Sunday,
