Guest guest Posted February 2, 2006 Report Share Posted February 2, 2006 Hi Everyone, Doing a copy of the usual 12 step would in my experience not do much to help people get through the emotional side of changing toward healthier foods. I've done that with many of my clients and didnt get very far... The book " No Grain Diet " by Dr Mercola gets into his method that he uses with his clients to get off the starch rolling coaster with carbs/ grains and I do agree that he's hit on a very superior way... What Mercola has done is work with Craig the guy who put together the EFT energy tapping techniques, www.emofree.com and designed the EFT method into a simple way to assist people to make those emotional food shifts " on their own " and to do so easily using EFT. Doesn't take 12 steps... more like 2 or 3 to easily do those steps... I'll be using the EFT from now on for my own shifts as I evolve and also with my clients for foods and many other self help changes that anyone may be going through. EFT empowers each of us rather than needing to vicariously give our power to some other authority or expert to fix us...
