Why I decided to go Raw after fasting and other musings

Dear Friends~

Ok this may be a bit disturbing to some. Please understand, I am

going through a recreation of my raw identity and choice making.

I personally do not believe in eating dairy. (I think rennet-less

goat cheese is ok for some people because of the relationship the

farmer has to the goat and because goats milk is the closest thing

to mother's milk in the mammalian world). I share this with you to

get your support. I need ideas about what I can reach for when I

can't get to the store and the buses aren't running. Maybe someone

can volunteer as my raw buddy =) so I have someone to call. I lost

most of your phone numbers...long story. Here's the whole scoop - no

pun intended...

Can you believe this? I actually (me, ms vegan raw home-girl)

reached for some B & J's ice cream last week when i was feeling a lil

lonely (you know how it is w/ women and chocolate) ;) well it felt

good in the moment and then I felt it in my veins and i got really

weak and then my throat swelled up and so i had to fast

to get rid of the sinus headache. It reminded me of all the ear

infections I had as a kid until I met a decent Dr who told my mom to

take me off milk so now it's back to nut-mylk for me. I broke a

three day liquid fast with some warm fresh golden ground flax cereal

(really easy to make with a lil warm water and a coffee grinder) I

learned this from Raw Diva Trish Foss - the Pony Rides lady - I

also add stevia & your favorite spices like fresh ginger, cinnamon,

salt, a lil ground cacao or soft fruit like pears and stir briskly

with a lil cool water and add enough hot water while stirring to

desired consistency - no stove! it really hit the spot and kept me

full until i tried to go for a ride on my dads hoopty bike and got

hungry and ate three luna bars (not raw but that's the only thing I

could find miles from home at an Albertsons in the burbs). Not

having adequate provisions inspired me to go home and make four

batches of raw food to sell (so I don't go broke waiting to get

hired somewhere) The food I made are these (which are 100% raw -

dehydrated at 115 degrees - a temperature which Dr. Gabriel Cousens

from The Tree of Life is in full support of) Apricot Jewel cookies,

Chocolate protein balls, Curry Coconut Thai crackers and Miso Magick

Pizza crusts. All in all the fast helped though today I am aiming

for a big salad. I had a green drink this morning...Maybe i'll have

another one so i can keep up the energy to write this book. The

items I have made to sell came out really good. I had alot of fun

making them - A friend called and cheered me up. I can call on him.

If someone out there wants a raw buddy, then maybe call and order

some of my goodies for starters. I can mail them right away. I am

only one block from a post office.
