Hi Lois & " Friends... "

It took me some time to source the supplements for making raw cat nola.

Lois, that book sounds fab! I am going to buy a copy soon as I can raise the

dough (omitting the yeast of course) -- Here's what I did:

Sprouted about two cups each: mung beans and lentils - w/ super spermy tails!

These become super high enzyme sources as you intitially suggested Lois.

For one supplement, I chose a veggie capsule form of Taurine (3 - 500 mg caps

per batch) You can use more if your cats are strictly vegan.

As for the other supplement: (add twice as much in cooked fooder

cats to help them heal and detox more effectively) I chose the best

Green food phyto nutrients I could find (cuz I have two very ill strays to

nurse)

For each regular serving (1 tsp of the stuff) " Ark Naturals " Nu-Pet Granular

Greens

which is a " powerful vitamin and antioxidant formula, " I guess we'll see...

I am putting twice as much per serving as recommended for cats

w/ 'optimum health opportunities'

For flavor, I added some Brewers yeast, celery pulp, sprouted spelt & 1 egg

so it's almost vegan. Then I dehydrated it at 115 degrees. They love the

supplement. I put the green powder on their chicken necks too. they go crazy

for it and the bones are so good for their teeth.

Gotta love thy cat; it may have nine lives but we only got one chance

to save the animal world since modern civilizations keeps f*cking it up.

Love, Shakti

Shakti, did you buy their suppliment or get the book??? The book is

interesting, even though they use cooked garbanzo beans and rice or

other cooked recipes, but the part on doing it and the part with the

vegetarian lioness from Seattle area is worth reading. Even a lady who

raises and shows cats was having success on the vegetarian diet using

the suppliments. You are motivating me to come up with raw vegan food

for my one year old cat. Do you use nuts? Sprouts like Ann Wigmore

used? What?

Good Luck, Lois
