Veggie washing - organic produce coop

I met the owner of a veggie wash product on a trip a couple weeks ago. It

was interesting to hear his scary perspective on eating conventional produce

without washing it. Interestingly enough, he saw no reason to wash the

organics. I thought that was good new (although I have assumed that). Of

course I am into liberating the bugs as well but I also know that the time

of day that you pick the food has an impact on keeping the bugs out...

A little reminder that our organic coop is growing with over 30 members now!

I am so excited that persimmon (my favorite fruit in all the world (so

far...)) is now available.

The best,

Guess if you don't wash the produce then you get vit. B-12. What if

a person with AIDS cuts themself and blood drips on the produce? I

have heard Dr. Lorraine Day MD say that a nurse was infected with

AIDS from blood.
